Where Character Development programs can come to you.
MC2 Assembly Programs
MC² is a band that uses music, skits and audience interaction to support, reflect, and encourage character education and character development for today's students and families. The music, some original, and some popular, is all performed live. All of the songs used focus on the thematic concepts presented.
Assemblies are lively, creative, and are designed for three levels: Grades K-2/3, Grades 3-6 and Families/Communities.
Shows scheduled at schools have the added advantage of offering an original MC² recording to each classroom teacher in attendance. Each teacher will receive an MC² CD that correlates to the live show. These recordings have many songs that MC² uses in their shows and may be used in formal Character Education and ethics classes. They may also be used for those character development teachable moments that may occur during any given school year. They have been positively critiqued by many teachers (see the comments below).
The programs are entertaining educational and support NJCCCS (New jersey Core Curriculum Content Statdrds) Standard #4 (1-11) Cross Content Workplace Readiness. What better way to get a solid character education message across, than in a positive and entertaining MC² show?

ball) that each classroom received. Kids have mentioned that it actually helped
them to make better choices when they were upset or angry! Really cute idea!
We would welcome MC² back anytime!"

"School #18 is a large, urban school, and our 4th grade students loved the
show. They really related to the music, which made them come away from the
performance with a better sense of themselves, and positive feelings towards
each other. The students loved getting on stage and being part of the show.
They were on their feet, clapping and singing along, while learning key components
of character development. Thank you MC²!"
